Kidz Act is seeking a part-time theatre educators for an exciting new program beginning in the Fall of 2010. The positions are permanent part-time at 10 hours per week from September through June. The teachers will be based at Elementary Schools throughout Loudoun & Fairfax Counties.

 

Ideal candidates will have a degree in Theatre or Theatre Education from an accredited college or university but is not required. Strong communication skills, a love of working with children and high energy level are a must! The candidates must have a thorough knowledge of and proficiency in teaching acting, playwriting, directing, stage tech as well as a historical understanding of the art form. Must have a driver’s license. Before being hired a Virginia State background check will need to be completed.  When applying, please attach a resume and cover letter.
