Overview of lesson rates and policies:
Individual lessons are $60 per 45 minute session. Please continue to read ALL of the following for a more detailed explanation. Studio hours are flexible and by appointment: weekdays, evenings
and weekends available.
ATTENTION NEW POLICY: Kidz Act is run in accordance with the Loudoun County School
Schedule. Including scheduled closings, holidays and inclement weather closings/delays.
- For weekly students, there is an initial audition/enrollment lesson of 1 hour, which is a full length, full-fledged lesson, not a consultation only. It is paid for separately and is $60. All
lessons last a minimum of fourty five. There is no additional charge if the lesson runs over (up to fifteen extra minutes). Please note that tuition does not include all music, study materials
and supplies, or festival and audition fees.
- If the student is accepted for further training after the initial audition lesson and he/she chooses to continue studying, the student & parents must commit to one lesson per week minimum
and agree to pay each month's lessons on the first lesson of the month ($240 a month, depending on how many weeks in the month). This policy protects both parties from frequent cancellations and
ensures a focused training program.
-
24 HOUR/ONE-STRIKE CANCELLATION POLICY STRICTLY ENFORCES: full rate will be applied for any lesson cancelled less than 24 hours prior to
scheduled lesson time. No refund will be provided and Kidz Act is under no obligation to reschedule. Rescheduling of lessons will not be
carried into the next month. In addition, if the student is late to the lesson, the full rate is applied and Kidz Act is under no
obligation to extend the lesson or reschedule. Any exceptions to this policy will be decided on a case-by-case basis. Any lessons canceled by Kidz
Act will be made up.
- At this time, accepted forms of payment for private students are cash, check or credit card (online only via Paypal). Returned checks will be assessed a $35 fee.
